1. Who we are

Pet-e is a pet protection service using QR codes. We operate in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

2. Age requirement

The Pet-e service is intended exclusively for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, you may not create an account or use the service without the consent of a parent or guardian. If we believe data has been collected from someone under 16, we will delete it immediately.

3. Data we collect

• Name and email address upon registration
• Pet details (name, photo, breed, age, notes)
• Payment data (managed exclusively by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Technical data: IP address, session cookies

4. Use of data

We use your data exclusively for:

• Providing the Pet-e service (QR creation, pet management)
• Processing payments and managing subscriptions
• Communicating about your account

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Public QR profile

When you activate a pet's QR, its details (photo, name, contact notes) become publicly accessible via the QR link. You can deactivate the QR at any time from your dashboard.

6. Third-party service providers

To operate the service, we work with the following providers, each of whom maintains their own data protection policies:

• Supabase — Data storage (EU region)
• Stripe — Payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
• Vercel — Application hosting and content delivery

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request full deletion of your account and data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Objection — object to processing

We respond to all GDPR requests within 30 days of receipt. To delete your account: Settings → Delete Account. For other requests, contact: support.pete@gmail.com

8. Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase servers (EU region) and retained for as long as your account is active. After deletion, it is immediately and permanently removed.

9. Cookies

We only use essential cookies for session authentication management. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. In the event of material changes, we will notify you by email at your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
